This policy explains what information DDNT Ltd (“DDNT Studio”, “we”) collects through www.ddnt.co.uk and what we do with it. We keep this deliberately short and only collect what we need.
What we collect
- Enquiry details. When you use the quote form or email us, we receive what you send — typically your name, email address, and a description of your project, plus any optional company or phone details you add.
- Basic analytics. We use privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics to understand which pages are visited. This does not identify you individually and does not use advertising cookies.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request information (including IP address) for security and reliability.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to deliver the project.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
The legal basis for handling enquiry details is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and taking steps to enter into a contract where you ask us to quote.
Who can see it
Enquiry details are seen by Daniel Williams. We use a small number of service providers to run the site and send email (hosting and transactional email), who process data on our instructions. We do not sell your information or share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Where we go on to work together, project records are kept for as long as needed for the engagement and our legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it. Email daniel@ddnt.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
